This is an excellent opportunity to join the Hillingdon Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust as Consultant in Upper GI General Surgery and provider of emergency general surgery.

Responsibilities
* Work as part of the General Surgery team at Hillingdon and Mount Vernon hospitals.
* Participate in the surgical on‑call rota (approximately 1:10) and 1:5 EGS rota.
* Provide an effective and comprehensive service together with consultant colleagues and other healthcare professionals.
* Support quality improvement and service development in the department.
* Participate in planned care and annual job planning, with a 9 + 1 PA post – 7.5 direct clinical care (DCC), 1.5 supporting professional activities (SPA), and 1 PA DCC for on‑call.
* Engage in mandatory personal CPD as part of the annual appraisal and revalidation process.
* Develop any areas of special interest in general surgery in line with service needs.
