Personal Assistant – Fulwood Area – LILS/LM/RB
An opportunity has arisen for a Personal Assistant to provide support to a gentleman within his own home and out in the local community.
As a Personal Assistant your duties will include support with all aspects of daily life, including cleaning, shopping and meal preparation.
Support will include personal care with showering and dressing. To carry out this duty the carer will need to be trained in using standing aids; full training will be provided.
Client will need additional support with managing communication, including support sending text messages and emails.
There will be additional duties from time to time accompanying client to appointments and taking to local community and social events for which additional hours will be available.
Car driver essential. A mobility car is available but PA must be over 25 years old and have a clean driving license to comply with insurance policy.
We are looking for a caring, calm and honest individual with a passion for supporting others; the role needs someone who is reliable and willing to be flexible.
Part time position, contracted 6 x hours per week with an hourly rate of £13 Additional blocks hours available from time to time for additional duties and to cover when other PAs are on leave. In addition, there will be 5.6 weeks paid annual leave, pro rata.
