Driver Hire Bournemouth & Salisbury is currently recruiting experienced HGV Class 1 and Class 2 Drivers for a temporary assignment with a well-established client based in Bournemouth.

Pay Rates
1. £16.81 – £17.93 per hour (Days)
2. £18.77 – £20.17 per hour (Nights & Saturdays)
3. £20.73 – £21.29 per hour (Sundays & Bank Holidays)
Rates quoted include PAYE Advanced Holiday Pay.
The Role
You will be responsible for operating a range of HGV Class 1 and/or Class 2 vehicles, delivering goods safely and efficiently across various locations.
Duties include:
4. Safe operation of HGV vehicles
5. Completing pre-use and post-use vehicle checks
6. Ensuring compliance with road traffic legislation and company procedures
7. Maintaining delivery paperwork and vehicle records
8. Providing a professional service to customers and clients
9. Communicating effectively with transport teams and site contacts
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you must have:
10. A valid UK HGV Class 1 or Class 2 licence
11. Valid CPC qualification
12. Digital Tachograph Card
13. Minimum 6 months’ recent commercial HGV driving experience
14. Own transport to travel to and from work
15. No more than 6 penalty points (No DR, DD or IN endorsements)
