Role: Head of Risk (Trading)

Salary: Up to £130,000 DOE
A global commodities trading firm are seeking a Head of Risk to lead the firm's trading risk function and ensure robust, forward-looking risk oversight. You'll be responsible for defining and managing the firm's risk strategy across trading activities. This leadership role sits at the intersection of trading, analytics and control.
Key Responsibilities of the Head of Risk (Trading):
* Lead the development and enforcement of the firm's risk management framework across market, credit and liquidity risk
* Monitor exposures across physical and financial positions, ensuring adherence to limits and risk appetite
* Deliver daily and ad-hoc risk reporting to senior management, highlighting key exposures and stress scenarios
* Build and scale the risk team, hiring key talent to support the firm's growing risk management needs
Key Requirements of the Head of Risk (Trading):
1. 6+ years experience in risk management within a trading environment
2. Strong understanding of market risk principles, credit risk and commodity trading dynamics
