Our client is renowned for their comprehensive vehicle services, including storage, inspection, maintenance, dispatch, and transportation. Job Details:
1. Location: Corby
2. Position: General Operative
3. Type: Temp to Perm
4. Working Hours: 37.5hours per week. Monday-Friday. Weekly Shift rotation of: 6am-2pm / 10am-6pm.
5. Salary: £12.02 per hour. Overtime and Unsociable hours at an Increased rate.
About the role?
Working under the supervision and co-ordination of the Site Logistics Manager and Valet Supervisor, you will be required to valet all workshop vehicles to a high standard within allocated timeframes, before their despatch from site.
Key responsibilities of the Role:
6. To Valet all Workshop vehicles to the expected standard, in preparation for dispatch.
7. To Valet each vehicle within the allocated timeframes.
8. To locate the vehicle once valeted, and to assist in the Yard whenever and necessary.
9. To keep all areas in Valet workshops, clean and tidy.
10. To complete all relevant paperwork and report any discrepancies.
11. To ensure health & safety procedures are followed at all times.
12. To maintain ISO 9002 procedure at all times.
13. Undertake other duties as directed commensurate with the level of the job function.
About you?
14. To be successful, you must be over 22 years old, possess a valid driver’s license with fewer than 6 penalty points, and have no DR10 offenses for insurance purposes.
15. To succeed in this role, candidates must be able to work the specified shift times above.
16. The ideal candidate will have a level-headed approach. This is essential when valeting and driving vehicles to ensure the safety of yourself and your colleagues.
17. The Ideal candidate will be able to work independently and be an effective communicator. This is essential as you will be collaborating with colleagues to support each department and maintain quality.
18. The ideal candidate will have basic understanding of health and safety and cooperate with managers to comply with Health & Safety regulations.
