HR Advisor - 12 Month Fixed-Term Contract
Location: Bicester, Oxfordshire (Office-based with travel across two sites)

Robert Half are working with a growing and fast-paced organisation based in Bicester to recruit an experienced HR Advisor on a 12-month fixed-term contract. This is an excellent opportunity to join a dynamic business at an exciting stage of growth, providing hands-on HR support during a busy and evolving period.
This role requires an individual who is immediately available to start work and comfortable operating in a fully office-based environment, with regular travel across two sites.
The Role
As HR Advisor, you will provide operational HR support across the full employee lifecycle, with a strong focus on Employee Relations and absence management. You will partner closely with line managers to deliver practical, commercially sound advice, ensuring policies and procedures are applied consistently and in line with current UK employment legislation.
Key Responsibilities
1. Managing a range of Employee Relations casework, including disciplinaries, grievances and performance management
2. Handling absence management processes, including long-term sickness cases, occupational health referrals and return-to-work meetings
3. Providing clear and pragmatic guidance to managers on HR best practice
4. Supporting organisational change and business initiatives as required
5. Ensuring HR policies and procedures are compliant and consistently applied
6. Maintaining accurate HR records and documentation
7. Contributing to HR projects aligned to business growth
About You
8. Proven experience in an HR Advisor role within a fast-paced environment
9. Strong working knowledge of UK employment law
10. Demonstrable experience managing complex Employee Relations cases and absence management
11. Proactive, adaptable and solutions-focused
12. Confident communicator with the ability to build strong relationships at all levels
13. Must be immediately available to start
14. Comfortable working fully office-based with travel across two sites
15. CIPD qualification (or working towards) desirable
