Private Client Solicitor / Legal Executive

A highly regarded and growing regional law firm is seeking an ambitious and motivated Private Client Solicitor or Legal Executive to join its established Ilkley office.
This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role in the continued success and expansion of a busy private client team, handling high-quality work within a supportive and forward-thinking environment.
The Role
You will manage your own caseload independently while working collaboratively with colleagues to contribute to the department’s overall success and profitability.
* Drafting Wills and Trusts
* Preparing and registering Lasting Powers of Attorney
* Trust and Estate Administration
* Court of Protection matters (ideally acting as a lead within this area)
* Maintaining strong relationships with existing clients and developing new referrer connections
* Contributing to marketing and business development initiatives
* Ensuring financial control of matters including billing and cash flow management
* Accurate time recording and compliance with regulatory requirements
* Cross-referring work across departments
You will also act as a senior presence within the Ilkley office, actively supporting colleagues and contributing to a collaborative team culture.
About You
* Qualified Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive with solid private client experience
* Confident managing your own caseload of wills, trusts, LPAs and estate administration
* Ideally experienced in Court of Protection work
* Able to mentor and support junior team members
* Organised, commercially aware and confident with clients
* Professional, approachable and resilient
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
