Meet the team:
The Medical and Clinical Affairs team EMEA is a group of highly motivated experts in diabetes treatment, medical education, clinical studies, scientific affairs, and the use of CGM (Continuous Glucose Monitoring) as a management tool for people with diabetes. The team consists of dedicated individuals who are passionate about high standards in Medicine and Science, who are equally keen to support Dexcom’s efforts to become a leader in CGM, driving CGM as a standard of care for people with diabetes. We are looking for a team player with great medical and clinical communication skills who will drive our Professional Education program in EMEA.
Where you come in:
1. You will be responsible for defining and delivering the professional and patient education medical strategy for the Dexcom Portfolio in the EMEA / LATAM region.
2. You will lead the content creation and dissemination of Professional and patient education programs.
3. You must identify innovative medical & educational opportunities to develop initiatives to increase CGM awareness and drive CGM adoption within educational settings that train/educate HCPs.
4. You will be working in partnership with marketing and medical teams – professional & patient education will champion education to healthcare professionals (secondary care, primary care, pharmacy) & patients as a key driver of our growth strategy to drive CGM adoption across the diabetes spectrum.
5. You will work collaboratively with the global, regional, and country medical teams, clinical, regulatory, legal and compliance teams to develop compelling education content and programs.
What makes you successful:
6. You have experience directly related to the use of diabetes technology, including CGM and its use with adults, pediatrics, and clinicians as a diabetes management tool strongly desired.
7. You have expert skill in developing educational content (presentations, digital assets, accredited content) and programs to convey key messages with intended audience.
8. You are an expert in developing and executing marketing programs to support clinical education, engaging HCPs though multi-channels and education platforms to drive brand awareness and engagement in educational resources.
9. You are team-focused and a strong collaborator, working alongside a highly functioning medical team and matrix organization. You are also able to work independently and use critical thinking skills to make independent decisions.
10. You are experienced in developing and running commercial advisory boards with KOLs
11. You have robust group presentation skills to both clinicians and people with diabetes.
