Pontefract Academies Trust is seeking a passionate and imaginative individual to join their team as a Content Apprentice. This role offers a unique opportunity to turn creativity into a career.
This position is perfect for someone who is passionate about creativity, storytelling, and digital media. The successful applicant will work on creating engaging content for social media, intranet, and websites, as well as supporting marketing campaigns and capturing content at school and Trust events, including photos, videos, and testimonials.
Full training and support will be provided by your workplace mentor and the Baltic team.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Research and gather ideas to support content planning and development.
2. Create engaging content for social media, intranet, and website.
3. Plan and schedule posts across social media platforms.
4. Create a social calendar for the Trust and its schools.
5. Develop content for staff intranet to support internal communications.
6. Support the Marketing and Communications Manager with campaigns and initiatives.
7. Capture content at events, including photos, videos, and testimonials.
Qualifications and Skills:
* Strong IT skills.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Basic understanding of social media platforms and digital trends.
* Good attention to detail.
* Ability to handle sensitive information confidentially.
* Willingness to learn and develop in marketing.
* Interest in digital media and marketing.
* Grade 5 or above in GCSE Maths and English.
