Job Title: Temporary Data & Reporting Analyst
Location: Hybrid – Head Office in Leyland (16–20 hours per week)

Our client, a leading organisation based in Leyland, is seeking a Temporary Data & Reporting Analyst to provide essential analytical and reporting support during a period of transition. This role is part-time (16–20 hours per week), working on a hybrid basis, and will play a key part in supporting financial and operational decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
Extract, analyse, and validate data from various internal systems and databases for reporting purposes.
Create, update, and maintain Excel-based reports, dashboards, and KPI trackers.
Use data analysis to link and communicate financial performance with operational performance.
Produce, present, and explain reports to support business decision-making across financial, commercial, and operational areas.
Conduct regular sales and inventory analysis, highlighting trends and performance insights.
Support budgeting and forecasting processes with accurate and timely financial analysis.
Assist with standard and actual costing activities to ensure robust cost management.
Develop and deliver performance dashboards to provide clear visibility of operational and sales KPIs.
Work closely with finance teams and business stakeholders to understand and meet reporting needs.
Carry out ad-hoc data analysis to support both strategic planning and day-to-day operations.
Ensure data confidentiality and compliance with internal governance and GDPR requirements. Skills & Experience Required
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (including formulas, pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and visualisation charts).
Proven experience working with data analysis, reporting, and dashboard creation.
Strong ability to translate data into clear, actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders.
Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Previous experience working with finance data or within a commercial/operational environment desirable.
Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively within a part-time capacity
