Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Healthcare Assistant located in Colwyn Bay. The Healthcare Assistant will provide attentive and compassionate care to residents, assist with daily activities, and ensure their well-being and comfort. Responsibilities include supporting patients with mobility, personal care, and hygiene, assisting with medication administration under supervision, and maintaining a safe and clean environment in line with health and safety regulations.
Qualifications
Proficiency in Patient Care, including assisting with daily living tasks and providing support to residents with their individual needs.
Strong Interpersonal Skills to communicate effectively and empathetically with residents, families, and colleagues.
Knowledge of Manual Handling techniques to safely assist residents in mobility and reduce the risk of injury.
Understanding of Health & Safety practices to ensure a safe environment for residents and staff.
Basic knowledge of Medicine administration (under supervision) and associated care procedures.
Previous experience in a healthcare or caregiving role is advantageous but not required.
A caring, patient, and respectful attitude along with enthusiasm for working with vulnerable individuals.
