Drainage Supervisor – Join Our Team
We’re looking for an experienced Drainage Supervisor to lead a small, high‑performing team delivering essential highway and drainage works.
This is a hands‑on role where you’ll take ownership of day‑to‑day operations across a variety of civil activities — from drainage installation and kerbing through to reinstatement and footway construction.
What you’ll be doing
* Leading a 3–4 person team on drainage and highways works
* Overseeing activities including drainage installs, gully works, soakaways, kerbing, and reinstatement
* Managing site performance, productivity, and safety
* Producing work packs, programmes, and site documentation
* Liaising directly with the client and stakeholders to manage changes and updates
* Carrying out audits and promoting best practice across site
* Keeping accurate daily records to support project delivery
* Supporting future works planning and attending key meetings
* Working across systems such as Confirm, BIM and other digital platforms, ensuring works are tracked and reported effectively
Who we’re looking for
* Strong background in drainage and highways works
* Proven experience supervising site teams
* Ability to manage programmes, site changes, and client communication
* Good IT skills (Microsoft packages essential)
* A proactive approach to safety, audits, and continuous improvement
