As our company grows and develops, we are ever expanding our Teams. We have a great opportunity for a committed Laboratory Section Manager to join our Infrastructure Division and wear the SOCOTEC badge with pride.
We are looking for a dependable, dedicated and flexible Laboratory Section Manager to join our UKAS accredited Materials Team. As a member of Materials, it is key that you are able to thrive in a Team environment, as well as independently. The fundamental part of the role it to determine the physical properties of a wide range of materials including concrete, earthworks, aggregates and bituminous mixtures to ensure compliance with specifications. All testing will be undertaken in line with a range of British, European and American standards so a good attention to detail and the ability to follow procedures is required.

* Management of day to day testing
* Reporting of results
* Daily testing activities
Qualifications
* A good background in materials testing
* Excellent client communication skills
* High level of quality and experience in UKAS accredited lab testing
About Materials Testing
Our Materials Testing team perform an extensive range of testing and compliance services across a wide range of construction projects including highways, rail, airfields, ports and harbours, power stations, sports stadia in addition to new build projects across Industrial, Commercial and Residential properties. A career within our Materials Testing business will provide a varied workload with experiences across many of the key UK Infrastructure assets leaving you with the satisfaction that you have played a part in ensuring the built world around us is safe and stable.
