Trainee Independent Financial Adviser (IFA) – Starting March 2026 (initially on a part time basis) About the Role
We're on the lookout for an enthusiastic and ambitious individual to join us as a Trainee Independent Financial Adviser. This is not just another trainee role—it's the start of a rewarding career where you'll help people shape their financial futures while building your own.
From day one, you'll be part of a supportive team, learning the ropes of financial advice while contributing to the smooth running of our business. Think of it as a mix of hands-on experience, professional exams, and real-world impact—all wrapped up in a fun, dynamic environment.
What You'll Be Doing
* Administration support: Assist with client files, documentation, and day-to-day operations to understand the foundations of financial advice.
* Study & qualifications: Work towards industry-recognised exams, including the mortgage qualification, with full support from us.
* Coursework preparation: Ideally, you'll begin your studies before joining us in March 2026, so you hit the ground running.
* Shadowing advisers: Learn directly from experienced IFAs, observing client meetings and seeing how advice is delivered.
* Career progression: Transition from trainee to fully qualified adviser, building your own client relationships and portfolio.

Qualifications
* Ideally an understanding of Financial Planning and Financial Advisory concepts
* Knowledge in Retirement Planning, Investments, and Finance is advantageous
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for relationship-building
* Ability to analyse financial data and develop effective strategies
* Willingness to undertake further training and professional qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field is advantageous
* Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
