This is a great opportunity for a Graduate Geo-Environmental and Geotechnical Engineer to join a team of multidisciplinary consulting engineers in Sheffield, on a range of exciting projects. The Graduate Geo-Environmental and Geotechnical Engineer selected will be:
* Assisting with site walkovers.
* Carrying out site investigations.
* Soil and rock logging.
* Preparing phase plans and carrying out phase 1 Desk Studies.
* Writing factual and interpretive reports.
* Work on in situ testing.
The Graduate Geo-Environmental and Geotechnical Engineer position therefore requires applicants to have a minimum of a BSc in geology, environmental science, geoscience, geotechnical engineering, environmental engineering or a relevant subject (MSc preferable). Applicants must be keen to learn and develop skills and have an ability show enthusiasm for working outdoors in a hands on role. You must hold a full UK driving licence, live commutable to Sheffield and have a full right to work in the UK.
