We have a thrilling opportunity to join Baths only Michelin-starred Restaurant as an assistant restaurant manager to help drive the business forward apace. The Olive Tree Restaurant is a highly unique environment. Essentials:
Required to oversee all areas of F&B in the business, including bar, room service and breakfast in the absence of the restaurant manager
Responsibility for managing rotas
Strong passion for food and drinks
In charge of ordering wines and drinks
Monthly stocktakes
Impeccable presentation and personal standards
Leading by example is a must
Ability to cope with pressure and challenge yourself

We need someone who knows their eggs when it comes to fantastic food and drink, and who is generously keen to part with their knowledge for the benefit of our team and our guests. They must begreat with people and able tolead a small teamwhilst working closely with colleagues, whether in their own department or others. This will be someone wholeads by example, whoseimpeccable presentation and personal standardscan filter through to the team.
Whilst the bulk of this role is to be spent in the award-winning Olive Tree Restaurant, it is also one that requires a commitment and willingness to work inall aspects of the food and beverage offering of The Queensberry Hotel and Olive Tree Restaurant, including bar and room service, and breakfast.
The assistant restaurant manager will take responsibility formanaging rotas and will have awareness of the importance of managing hours and ensuring payroll budgets are met.
A keen passion for wines and beverages is required, as the new assistant manager will beresponsible for ordering wines and drinks, monthly stocktakes and updating wine lists.
Furthermore, the assistant restaurant manager will have theleadership, confidence, and motivation to lead the restaurant service in the absence of the restaurant manager;also being part of the senior food and beverage team.
This person will ideally have worked at a similarly high level of restaurant standard, 3AA Rosettes and/or 1 Michelin Star. But this is not essential
RECOMPENSE
£33,600 per year*
*Inclusive of service charge, based on 45 hours a week.
