We are currently looking for a Maintenance Planner paying £53,500 to work with a well-established market leader and international manufacturing business in the Rugby area. This is a new key-critical role to help support the maintenance strategy for a world-class manufacturing facility, ensuring reliability for optimum production outputs. Key responsibilities of the Maintenance Planner: - To support a detailed maintenance program within the maintenance planning team. - Working to improve plant reliability and continually improving Maintenance Systems. - Working with the Engineering team across multi disciplines to assess, plan, procure, pre kit and plan and manage external contractor for all maintenance activities. - Playing a key role in the assessment of maintenance notifications and shutdown scopes of work to provide detailed information to ensure efficient, cost effective and reliable execution of all maintenance tasks. - Produce timely assessment and analysis of notifications and scopes of work for the Maintenance Engineering team to assist with decision-making around plant priorities, improving equipment reliability and forecast expenditure through well-planned work packages. - Create financially loaded work packages for daily and shutdown planning to allow the planning team to accurately forecast expenditure. - Support, execute and enforce all Maintenance Strategies and policies, to optimize task execution and improve reliability at the manufacturing plant. - Support the coordination for the planning of the annual shutdown to ensure plans are developed that are safe while optimizing efficiency. - Attend maintenance planning meetings with Supervisors and Engineers to input technical detail to the planning process from data gathered during the assessment process of maintenance notifications and scopes of work. - We welcome applications from individuals who have experience from Maintenance Planners, Project Engineers or Surveyors.
