About the Role:
The Marketing Coordinator will play a key role in driving growth for FundOnion through various marketing initiatives, including campaign planning, content creation, social media management, and data analysis. Reporting to the Marketing Manager, this individual will be responsible for ensuring all marketing materials align with the brand guidelines, marketing strategy and broader business objectives. This position is ideal for someone with both a creative and analytical mindset who is eager to learn and grow their marketing skills in a fast-paced startup environment.

Role Description:
* Campaign Development: Work with the the Marketing Manager to create compelling multi-channel campaigns that turn prospects into clients.
* Data Analysis & Strategy: Track KPIs, spot trends, and implement data-driven decision making to optimise and drive growth.
* Content Creation (the fun part): Craft brand-aligned, written, visual and video content that breaks through the noise. At FundOnion, we take pride in doing differently - the bolder the better!
* Social Media Management: Build FundOnion's social media presence across LinkedIn, Meta, and more. You'll develop content calendars, craft tailored posts, and explore new channels too.
* Email Marketing: Oversee email agency relationships, and craft compelling emails for all stages of the marketing funnel.
* Website: Write and publish blogs, implementing SEO best practices.
* Cross-Functional Collaboration: Connect marketing initiatives with broader business goals. You'll work alongside the Marketing Manager and other teams to ensure marketing efforts amplify collective success.

Desired Skills & Experience:
* Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field
* 1+ years of prior experience in Marketing
* A genuine appetite for learning, willingness to tackle challenges, and enthusiasm for bold ideas
* Excellent writing skills for crafting compelling, brand-aligned copy
* A good eye for design and video-editing with a high attention to detail
* Familiar with design/editing tools (Canva, Figma, and Adobe Suite, etc.).
* Solid understanding of SEO best practices for website content optimisation
* Proficiency with email marketing platforms (HubSpot, SendGrid, MailChimp, etc.)
* Confident in navigating key social media platforms (LinkedIn, TikTok, Facebook, Instagram) and understanding of their unique best practices
* Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and generate insights
* Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
* Experience in B2B or a finance-related industry is a bonus
