Job Description
A leading international firm is seeking an associate to join its globally recognised aviation finance team in London. This group sits at the centre of the firm’s aviation offering, advising on sophisticated, high‑value aircraft finance and leasing transactions for airlines, lessors, financial institutions and investors across multiple jurisdictions.
The work includes:
* Operating and finance leases, JOLCOs, PDP financings and sale‑and‑leasebacks
* Cross‑border debt financings and portfolio acquisitions
* Restructurings, novation's and repossessions
* Exposure to export credit and tax‑driven structures
* Opportunities to support on high‑value aviation disputes
Associates are involved in live transactions from day one, taking ownership of drafting, negotiation and client engagement with increasing autonomy. The team offers a genuinely international platform with hubs across major global aviation centres.
Requirements:
* Up to 8 years’ PQE, ideally with aviation or asset finance experience (other finance backgrounds considered)
* Strong drafting and negotiation skills
* Commercially minded, collaborative and confident managing client relationships
* England & Wales qualification (or equivalent)
