This post is open to employees of the five LAASP organisations. As part of your application, you will be asked to confirm that you are a current employee of The Clatterbridge Centre, Liverpool Heart and Chest Hospital, Liverpool University Hospitals, Liverpool Women’s Hospital or, The Walton Centre.
The applicant must have excellent communication skills, both face-to-face and telephone, as this role is the first point of contact for patients and visitors to the hospital.
This role is rewarding and busy. Once fully trained, the successful applicant will be expected to work independently.
Reception is staffed from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm, Monday to Friday.
Main responsibilities include:
1. Being the first point of contact for visitors, patients, and staff.
2. Handling telephone enquiries.
3. Liaising with all staff and departments across the hospital.
4. Providing training as needed.
5. Booking appointments and outgoing appointments.
6. Preparing clinics.
