Were looking for a skilled and customer-focused Electrician to join our team in Norfolk. Youll be responsible for carrying out a wide range of electrical repairs and installations in both occupied and void properties. This is a hands-on role where your expertise will directly contribute to maintaining high standards of service and safety.
This role is a full time position, working 40 hrs Monday-Friday 8am-5pm with 1 hr unpaid lunch.
Key Responsibilities Perform efficient and high-quality electrical repairs and upgrades.
Carry out planned maintenance and installations, including kitchen and bathroom electrics.
Conduct fault finding, testing, and inspection of domestic dwellings.
Complete all relevant NICEIC paperwork.
Respond professionally to customer enquiries and liaise with our Operations Centre.
Mentor apprentices or trainees when required.
Maintain tools, equipment, and company-issued devices in excellent condition.
Ensure compliance with Health & Safety, Data Protection, and company policies.
Support continuous improvement and value-for-money initiatives.
What Were Looking For Experience:
Strong knowledge of the building and construction industry.
Experience in property maintenance and working within the social housing sector.
Confident decision-maker with problem-solving skills.
Familiarity with Health & Safety practices.
Qualifications:
17th Edition (Essential), 18th Edition (Desirable).
2391 Testing & Inspection (Desirable).
Health & Safety training (Desirable).
Full UK Driving Licence (Essential).
Skills:
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
Technically proficient in core and associated trades.
Good IT skills, including use of tablets and Microsoft packages.
