* Responsible for the management and compliance nationally of the utilities team on the contract
* Ensure compliance with statutory and contractual legislative requirements
* To comply with all QHSE policies and procedures and Implement a positive health and safety culture
* Main duties

* To efficiently and cost effectively manage and develop the Utilities team nationally
* To analyse current contract and assess their ongoing contribution to the Utilities operation, controlling and minimising risk
* To manage and develop a professional and effective operational team, ensuring objectives are set, monitored and achieved and that all employees are appraised and have a personal development plan
* To carry out the day to day management of relevant employees including conduct, performance, attendance and capability
* Attend any work related courses to aid job competency
* Attend HR related courses to ensure competence in dealing with people management responsibilities
* Develop a succession plan for all key roles within your team
* To build positive and productive working relationships with all customers, delivering excellent customer service and seeking ways to continuously improve and exceed expectations
* Ensure that all Planned and Reactive Visits and KPI's are met for the contract
* To provide management information/reporting as required
* To monitor and control supplier, sub-contractor and labour costs
* To undertake additional duties in line with capabilities as required
* Must have good communication skills both verbal and written
* Holds relevant professional, technical or management qualifications, and/or has relevant experience with BG01 regulations, PSSR regulations and trade effulent plants.
* Can demonstrate knowledge and understanding of Health, Safety, Environment and Quality systems and the management of safe systems of work associated with the role and work environment
* Be able to write SOPs, RAMs relevant to the utilities operation
* Understands Permit to Work procedures and safe systems of working.
* BOAS manager accredited
* Understands the administration and application of a PPM system
* Computer literate
* Flexibility over working hours (may be required to work days and weekends to ensure work is co-ordinated / completed)
