Overview
We are seeking an enthusiastic and versatile General Science Teacher to join a supportive Science department, starting at the end of September 2025. You will teach across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, inspiring students to develop scientific knowledge, curiosity, and practical skills.
Responsibilities
* Plan, prepare and deliver high-quality lessons across Biology, Chemistry, and Physics at KS3 and KS4.
* Assess and track pupil progress, providing constructive feedback and support.
* Create an engaging and inclusive classroom environment that promotes learning and curiosity.
* Collaborate with colleagues to develop resources, schemes of work, and best practice.
* Contribute to extracurricular science activities, including clubs, trips, and school events.
Qualifications
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a degree in a science-related subject.
* Ability to teach all three sciences confidently at KS3 and KS4.
* Strong classroom management, organisational, and communication skills as a General Science Teacher.
* Enthusiastic and passionate about inspiring young scientists.
* Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
