Job Role: IT Service Desk Operator
Location: Gladstone House, RDE Heavitree, Gladstone Road, Exeter EX1 2RA

Hours: 37.5 hours/week On-site role; remote working available only for extreme shift times (e.g., weekends or early/late shifts)
Contract: Ongoing (with potential to go permanent)
Pay Rate: £13.13/hr + Holiday pay =>> £14.92/hr (Day)
* Saturday Rate: £17.73/hr + Holiday Pay =>> £20.15/hr
* Sunday Rate: £22.19/hr + Holiday Pay =>> £25.23/hr
* Bank Holiday Rate: £22.19/hr + Holiday Pay =>>£25.23/hr
Role Summary:
We're hiring a Service Desk Operator to join the IT team at Royal Devon University Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust. This is a great opportunity for someone with basic IT knowledge who's confident, reliable, and ready for a long-term role. You'll handle frontline IT support and switchboard duties, working independently after a comprehensive 4–6-month training period.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide first-line IT support to NHS staff
* Manage service desk and switchboard calls
* Work shifts between 07:30 and 20:00, Monday to Friday
* Weekend/late shifts may allow for remote working
