Regional Sales Manager Chemical and Food Industry

This role involves generating sales growth in your designated region (UK & Ireland) and markets, developing strong customer relationships, and promoting our equipment and (line) solutions.
Our organization is located in Newcastle-under-Lyme.
What we are looking for:
An enthusiastic result driven leader with a proven track record in Sales in the Chemical and/or Food industry and ready for the next step in your career. You are involved in and responsible for:
* Conduct market research and analysis to identify new business opportunities and stay ahead of industry trends.
* Visiting potential customers and maintaining excellent relationships with existing customers and prospects.
* Providing advice to customers in collaboration with the executing departments on technical solutions.
* Identifying desired product/solution developments by the customers and discussing them with the Capital Sales Director.
* Launching new products/solutions in the assigned region in consultation with the Capital Sales Director and Product Manager(s).
* Proposing product improvements and ideas for new product development.
* Negotiate contracts and close deals with clients, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements.
Requirements
* Minimum of 5 years of relevant Sales experience in selling capital equipment.
* Understanding of technical processes, industry jargon, and competition.
* Experience with food and/or chemical processes and their is a plus
* Proficiency in various software programs such as CRM, MS Office.
* Excellent command of English language in both written and verbal communication
* Willingness to travel within the UK and Ireland.
* Experience in working in a global team
