About the Role
As a volunteer, you may support the hospice in a variety of ways depending on the role. This could include:
* Assist ward staff with bed making
* Assist in movement and cleaning of equipment from the ward
* Assist ward clerk with clerical tasks e.g., photocopying, answering phone calls
* Assist with patient orientation of the ward
* Assist staff to prepare patients for discharge home or inpatient treatment
* Help serve food and beverages for patients (not feeding)
