About the Role
We're looking for reliable, hardworking individuals to join a busy and expanding cable recycling operation in Shepshed. This is a hands-on role operating recycling machinery that processes cables from construction sites across the UK.
Tasks may involve using forklifts and loading shovels (training provided if you're not licensed yet). This is more than just a temporary jobit's a temp-to-perm opportunity with real potential for long-term employment and career progression within a growing company.
Shift Patterns:
Monday to Friday (occasional Saturday if required)
PM Shift: 14:00 22:00 | £15/hour
What You'll Be Doing
Operating recycling machinery
Using forklifts/loading shovels (training available if needed)
Following strict health and safety procedures
Keeping your work area clean, tidy, and organised
Supporting your team to ensure smooth daily operations
We're Looking For Someone Who Is:
Mechanically minded understands how machines work
Reliable and available Monday to Friday every week
Experienced in recycling/industrial work (preferred)
Experienced with FLT (desirable, but training can be provided)
Able to communicate clearly in English (spoken and understood)
Responsible, safety-conscious, and takes pride in their work
