We are seeking a Lead Financial Analyst to join a pivotal project focused on step-in risk due to new PRA regulations. This role requires strong expertise in stakeholder management and risk assessment, ensuring our institution identifies and quantifies financial exposures associated with non-contractual obligations. The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience in data analysis and regulatory reporting, contributing to our goal of maintaining financial resilience and compliance.
Main Responsibilities
The Lead/Senior Financial Analyst/Data Analyst will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of critical analytical tasks:
* Ensure scope and requirements are clearly understood and consistently applied.
* Collect and analyze data, assessing impacts on the balance sheet and credit.
* Support the design and implementation of a reporting framework.
* Track progress of key deliverables and milestones.
* Perform quality checks to ensure data integrity and compliance.
Key Requirements
* Strong stakeholder management experience.
* Proven track record in data analysis.
* Experience with regulatory frameworks, specifically in finance.
* Familiarity with PRA regulations related to step-in risk.
* Ability to collaborate with reporting workstreams effectively.
Nice to Have
* Experience in a multi-regional team environment.
* Knowledge of Basel reforms and systemic risk management.
* Familiarity with financial reporting tools and analytics software.
