Support Worker Salary: Circa £24,638 per annum Plus, great benefits including Health Cash Plan! As our Support Worker, you’ll be part of a team that provides young people aged 16-25 with the guidance, stability, and encouragement they need to overcome challenges and gain independence.

Our tools and support help you when you need them. What you’ll do * Supporting young people, aged 16-25, who may be facing homelessness, mental health challenges, exploitation or substance abuse, helping them to develop the skills to live independently. * Encouraging and empowering young people to achieve their goals, whether it’s finding stable housing, securing employment or building confidence. * Helping with day to day takes such as budgeting, maintaining their tenancy and moving onto independent accommodation. * Carrying out risk assessments, support planning, goal setting and regular reviews. * Cuppas, chats and catch ups.

The practical bits * Due to our service being regulated by Ofsted you must have experience supporting young people. * You’ll work a four-week rolling rota, a mixture of weekdays and weekends. * Where we’re flexible with you, we do need to meet the needs of our customers.
That may mean adapting your start or finishing times on occasion. * Able to use technology to update support plans, complete online learning and to collaborate with colleagues. * You’ll need an Enhanced DBS check done and we pay for that.
