Titan are currently working with a very successful manufacturing company based in Dumbarton who are looking for a CNC Operator to join their team.
The main purpose of the role is to satisfy machining and fitting requirements within the workshop using efficient and effective working practices. you will ensure safety and quality standards are maintained and that all jobs comply with company and client requirements.
Role responsibilities -
Operate CNC machining equipment, including set-up and adjustment
Programming, setting and operating
Able to read and correctly interpret engineering documentation
Produce parts of moderate to high complexity meeting documented specifications
Machining of components using conventional and CNC Machine tools
Use precision measuring instruments, adjusting machine to control quality process
Maintain high standard of house keeping and operate safely in line with company health & safety policy
Maintain machine, tooling and parts to ensure equipment remains in optimal operating condition
Other allocated duties and tasks as reasonably expected to fulfill
Requirements -
Recognised Engineering apprenticeship or relevant technical qualification
Operational knowledge of CNC Vertical Milling machinery
Experience with Fanuc Controls preferable
A bility to read Engineering drawings is essential
Sufficient and appropriate experience in a Manufacturing Environment is required
Strong communication and team working skills
The company offers a great working environment, working Monday to Friday, on a early shift (6am - 2pm) backshift (2pm-10pm) fortnightly rotation.
