Air Conditioning Engineer Location: Surrey & Surrounding Regions (No London work) Hours: Full Time – 40 Hours per Week Salary: Up to £43,000 to £45,000 (Dependent on knowledge and experience) Reporting to: Air Conditioning Supervisor A growing facilities services provider is seeking a motivated and experienced Air Conditioning Engineer to join their expanding team. You’ll be working across a variety of commercial sites in the education, healthcare, and public sectors, delivering high-quality planned and reactive maintenance. What We Offer * Overtime opportunities (1.5x standard, 2x after 4 hours Saturday and 2x Sunday) * 23 days holiday bank holidays * Company vehicle and fuel card * Company mobile and full uniform * Extensive learning & development support * Career progression opportunities * Employee Assistance Programme (EAP) * Bupa Cashplan – dental, optical, physiotherapy & wellbeing cover * Pension scheme enrolment * Refer a friend scheme – earn £750 per referral Key Responsibilities: * Maintain, diagnose and repair a range of AC systems including split, VRV/VRF and heat pumps * Service air handling units, fan convectors, and extractor fans * Carry out mechanical repairs and scheduled PPM testing * Work with Building Management Systems (BMS) * Attend reactive call-outs and participate in the out-of-hours rota * Maintain accurate electronic job records using smart devices * Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations * Collaborate effectively with site staff and fellow engineers * Work at height where necessary What We’re Looking For Essential: * Recognised qualification in Air Conditioning/Refrigeration * F-Gas Certification (City & Guilds or equivalent) * Strong understanding of split systems, VRV/VRF, and heat pump technologies * Ability to fault-find and programme AC controls * Good written and verbal communication skills * Comfortable using smart devices to complete documentation * Full UK Driving Licence * Able to pass an Enhanced DBS check (due to working in schools) Desirable: * Manufacturer training or relevant OEM certifications * Awareness of basic safe electrical working * Previous experience in a similar multi-site engineering role Hit apply and we give you a call
