Job Description
We’re recruiting for Customer Service Consultants to join our Group Protection team. This is a hybrid role, where you will work a minimum of 1 day a week in our Hove office and the rest from home, Monday-Friday between our core hours of 8-6, post training.
What you'll be doing:
1. Support the onboarding and continued scheme maintenance of Group Protection policies to ensure we remain a top provider.
2. The tasks are varied; you’ll be talking to colleagues, brokers, and customers regularly. This role involves administrative or processing work, and communication with customers and brokers on the phone.
3. Dealing with all correspondence from internal and external customers, keeping them updated on progress to ensure next stages are understood, with attention to detail and pace.
4. Maintaining scheme data, administering, and updating customer and client records.
5. Collaborating with team members to resolve customer inquiries and issues efficiently.
6. Managing and organizing your own work queue to meet service levels and keep brokers or customers informed.
7. For vulnerable customers, consider their circumstances and needs, taking additional steps to support them through interactions with Legal & General.
Qualifications - Who we're looking for:

* Strong communication and administration skills, with a passion for supporting customers in all circumstances. Ability to build relationships with internal and external customers.
* Confidence in using a desktop or laptop and experience with MS Office.
* Excel experience is preferred.
