Personal Assistant (PA)

Wathwood Hospital, an award‑winning mental health facility within Nottinghamshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust, is seeking a Band 4 PA to provide confidential secretarial support to members of its Senior Leadership Team.
Responsibilities
Provide efficient and confidential support to Senior Leadership, including:
* Complex diary and e‑mail management.
* Producing high‑quality reports within agreed deadlines.
* Facilitating meetings, investigations and disciplinary hearings – booking venues, arranging refreshments, preparing and circulating agendas, recording attendance, and taking accurate minutes.
* Maintaining confidential records and electronic files.
* Assisting with other reasonable expectations of the role.
Qualifications
* Typing/word processing qualification to RSA/OCR III standard or equivalent.
* Knowledge of business and administration procedures, achieved through NVQ Level 4 or equivalent practical experience.
* Experience with disciplinary or hearing processes.
* ECDL certification.
Experience and Skills
* Minute taking.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office (Database, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
* Advanced scheduling and diary management.
* Customer‑facing office experience.
* Teamwork and effective communication with external agencies.
* Experience within the NHS.
* Excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication, telephone manner, numeracy and literacy.
Contractual Requirements
Ability to travel between venues on an occasional basis.

This post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and requires a DBS check.
Salary
£28,392 to £31,157 per annum (pro‑rata).
