Salary: From £20,600-£30,900 per annum
*The College is expecting approval on a 6.5% pay increase subject to Union approval, this will be a potential increase to salary £21,939 - £32,908
Contract: MC Teaching Support, Full Time, Permanent,
Term Time Only – 38 weeks
Hours: 37 hours per week
Annual Leave: 30 days per annum plus statutory Bank Holidays
Pension: Local Government Pension Scheme
About the College
Middlesbrough College is the largest General Further Education College in the Tees Valley and has been situated in Middlehaven, Middlesbrough, since 2008. It has developed from the initial main site to the vibrant campus that is now in place with our Campus Heart, dedicated Sixth Form, STEM Centre, Higher Education Centre, and further development for our apprentices in progress.

About the role
Due to further growth in our Apprenticeship Provision, Northern Skills (Middlesbrough College Group Apprenticeship Arm) have a fantastic opportunity for an assessor in construction. No experience in education is required as full training and support will be given. If you have industry experience and qualifications in areas such as, Property Maintenance, Bricklaying, Carpentry and Joinery, plumbing etc we're love to speak to you.

The successful candidate will:
Level 3 or equivalent in relevant occupational area- Essential
English and Maths GCSE grade C or above- or equivalent - Desirable.
TAQA or A1 assessor qualification, or willing to work towards - Desirable.
Teaching qualification – Desirable.
