The Role As a Learning Support Assistant, you’ll play a key role in supporting teachers and pupils in the classroom. Your responsibilities will include: Providing one-to-one and small group support with pupils who have additional learning needs. Assisting with lesson delivery and classroom management. Helping prepare learning materials and maintaining a safe, engaging classroom. Encouraging positive behaviour and promoting inclusion for all learners. Monitoring pupil progress and sharing feedback with teachers and parents. Working collaboratively with teaching staff and school teams. What We’re Looking For Previous experience working with children in an educational setting. Experience supporting SEN pupils on a 1:1 or group basis. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. A patient, supportive, and adaptable approach. Strong organisational skills and attention to detail. Relevant childcare or education qualifications (desirable but not essential).
