5. Inclusion in, or eligibility for inclusion in the Specialist Register or within 6 months of obtaining CCST

We are currently recruiting for an Adult Consultant Psychiatrist position in the Kent All Age Eating Disorder (AAED) service based at The Courtyard, Pudding Lane, Maidstone, Kent, ME14 1PA.
You will join another full-time substantive adult Psychiatrist, wte CAMHS Consultants, and wte Paediatrician within the service, and will have the opportunity to influence future direction, treatment, and models of design in the area in which you work.

Job description
Job responsibilities
You will be expected to:
22. Work as part of multidisciplinary teams providing care to patients with eating disorders across all ages
23. Provide senior medical support to the team, and direct input on clinical cases
24. Provide guidance and supervision to the team, work directly with adults (and their families), and liaise as appropriate with other external adult mental health providers, and acute hospitals
25. Work alongside another Adult Consultant Psychiatrists, and CAMHS Consultant Psychiatrists within the service, and will share supervision requirements for junior doctors in the service
26. Further develop links already established with the local acute trusts A&E departments and inpatient wards, in order to continually improve our services
27. Be responsible for patients allocated to them and will assess, manage, plan, and deliver care
28. Support their peers and team leader and be an effective team member whilst working on their own initiative and supervise junior colleagues
29. Commitment to collaborative working and actively supporting and liaising with other health and social professionals and agencies
