Aviation Fuel Operator – FTC Location: London Gatwick Airport (may also support other UK airport locations) World Fuel This role is responsible for the safe, compliant, and efficient handling of aviation fuel, including into‑plane refuelling operations. You will operate to the highest SSHE standards, deliver exceptional customer service, and ensure all work is completed accurately, safely, and on schedule. Key Responsibilities Safety, Compliance & Operational Standards Operate to the highest Safety, Security, Health & Environment (SSHE) standards. Proactively assess, identify, and report SSHE matters or incidents; actively use safety tools (e.g., Share Its ). Comply with and maintain all Company safety and operational standards. Follow Job Safety Analysis (JSA) for all operational activities. Maintain working knowledge of Company Safety and Emergency Procedures and implement when required. Fuel Handling & Refuelling Operations Safely handle, store, and move Aviation Product in accordance with Company quality standards. Perform into‑plane refuelling to the highest safety and compliance levels. Apply correct emergency procedures during incidents. Maintain all required refuelling and product quality documentation. Customer Service & Coordination Act as first point of contact with customers, ensuring exceptional service. Schedule and prioritize work to ensure on‑time refuelling delivery. Assist with planning vehicles, equipment, and manpower as needed. Participate in all required training and maintain competency in all operational procedures. Requirements Licensing & Experience LGV Class 2 (Category C) driving licence is essential. Minimum 2 years of recent Class 2 driving experience preferred. Skills & Competencies Strong decision‑making skills with strict adherence to HSE guidelines. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Effective problem‑solving and use of initiative. Basic numeracy, data entry, and IT proficiency. Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills (English). Manual handling capability.
