Job Objectives
* Delivering Project Controls across infrastructure projects in London.
* Lead the programme controls function for a programme, monitoring accuracy and consistency of plans, cost, safety, environment and performance reporting, and deploying controls resources effectively.
* Establish effective control processes in compliance with the Guide to Railway Investment Projects (GRIP) and as directed by the Programme Controller, maintaining these at Territory / Project level.
Other Responsibilities
* Review new project proposals/remits and ensure realistic, resource plans are developed for delivery.
* Identify resourcing requirements to support the programme and liaise with planning functions to resolve issues.
* Provide efficient day-to-day service to Programme and Project Managers in reporting on plans, costs, safety, environment and programme performance.
* Monitor data input by project teams to cost and performance systems to meet required data standards.
* Manage the production of the Investment Plan and comply with the Investment Competence Framework.
Qualifications
* Experience in planning and scheduling functions, including schedule development, control, and analysis, in both field and home office environments.
* Strong oral and written communication skills.
* Proficiency with PC operating systems and basic software applications; experience with Primavera P6 and Microsoft Office.
* Knowledge of engineering, procurement, contracts, construction, and start-up processes.
* Knowledge of engineering and construction management.
