Job Description:
The role of the Product Sales Manager is to support the account managers in driving new business—from both new logos and existing customers of Clarivate. Reporting to the Manager of IP (Intellectual Property) Segment Sales, this is a wonderful opportunity for an energetic sales professional to drive sales for the Intellectual Property business.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Achieve or exceed territory sales targets for new business.
2. Forecast accurately to your manager with regular communication throughout each month.
3. Work efficiently with customers and leads, following Clarivate’s sales cycle and using Salesforce.
4. Continuously learn and improve your understanding of Clarivate products.
5. Understand competitor products and services to position Clarivate effectively.
6. Participate in team meetings and share knowledge with the team.
7. Maintain adequate meeting volumes as defined by Sales Management.
8. Create and update account profiles, provide quotes, and book deals in Salesforce.
9. Identify potential targets within existing clients.
About You – Experience, Education, Skills, and Accomplishments:
* A self-starter who initiates ideas to find and grow new business.
* Business-level proficiency in Spanish, Italian, or French is required.
* 4-year undergraduate degree or equivalent; 5+ years of experience, including 2 years in sales.
* Persistent and motivated to overachieve targets.
* Excellent sales, account management, and presentation skills.
* Strong organization and time management skills.
* Knowledge of Salesforce (SFDC).
* Curious, flexible, and competitive.
* Ability to work independently and in a team.
* Proficiency in Webex, Salesforce, MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel preferred.
* Desire to grow and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Additional Preferred Experience:
* Experience in IT, Legal Services, or Information Services fields.
* Experience in Intellectual Property is a plus.
* Experience working with global teams.
About the Team:
This role reports to the Manager, Segment Sales, and is part of a team of 8 IP Product Sales Managers across EMEA.
Working Hours:
Full-time, based in London or Barcelona, hybrid work 2-3 days/week.
