Contract Data Analyst - Market Risk
Location: Belfast (3 days per week on-site)
Duration: Until 31/12/2025
Rate: £500-550 per day (Inside IR35)
A leading Investment Bank needs an experienced Data Analyst to work on trade and position data for Market Risk regulatory requirements.
You'll be hands-on with extracting, manipulating and analysing trading data, working closely with Market Risk teams and Front Office stakeholders to ensure data quality and completeness.
What You'll Do
* Extract and analyse trade and position data for regulatory reporting
* Work with upstream and downstream trade processing systems
* Implement data quality controls and monitoring
* Support Market Risk processes and requirements
* Collaborate with Front Office and Risk teams
* Document findings and support testing through to implementation
What We Need
* Hands-on experience with trade and position data analysis
* Strong understanding of trade lifecycles and market risk processes
* Experience working with Market Risk and Front Office teams
* Skilled at extracting, manipulating and transforming trading data
* Knowledge of upstream/downstream trade processing flows
Key requirement: You must have real banking experience working directly with trade and position data in a market risk environment.
