Overview
Procurement Customer Service Officer role at NWSSP Legal & Risk Services. An opportunity to join the frontline team within NHS Wales Shared Services Partnership, Hywel Dda Frontline Procurement Team, supporting the NWSSP Procurement Strategy and the Health Boards in delivering their strategic aims.
Responsibilities
* Deliver the NWSSP Procurement Strategy and support Health Boards in achieving their strategic aims.
* Provide front-line procurement support and help deliver value for money goods and services to the NHS while supporting wellbeing and future generations of Wales.
* Engage with the organisation\'s values and contribute to a customer-focused, collaborative, and innovative environment.
Qualifications and Knowledge
* Essential: A Level/NVQ Level 3/Advanced certificate in procurement and supply; ability to demonstrate understanding of or experience with basic purchasing principles.
* Desirable: Procurement or Accountancy qualification at foundation level or equivalent experience; knowledge of Oracle Financial Management Systems.
Experience
* Essential: Experience in a busy office environment.
* Desirable: Previous NHS Finance and/or Procurement experience; knowledge of Financial Management Systems; experience in a procurement function.
Aptitude and Abilities
* Demonstrate confidence in using figures; ability to use IT software such as Microsoft Excel and Word; strong time management and organisational skills; excellent written and oral communication; ability to work as part of a team and on own initiative; accuracy and attention to detail.
