As a Therapy Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting a young person and their family through a combination of virtual sessions, home visits, and community-based activities. Your work will be instrumental in helping the young person achieve their goals and reach their full potential. The position requires 22.5 hours per week, allowing you to maintain a healthy work-life balance while making a meaningful impact. We are committed to providing the highest quality of care and support to the young people and families they serve. As a member of the multi-disciplinary team, you will collaborate with colleagues from various disciplines to develop and implement individualised treatment plans tailored to the unique needs of each client. You will have the opportunity to contribute your skills and expertise while learning from experienced professionals in a dynamic and inclusive work environment.,

* Providing direct support to the young person and their family through virtual sessions, home visits, and community-based activities
* Assisting in the implementation of therapy programmes and interventions as directed by the lead therapist
* Monitoring and documenting the young person's progress, reporting any concerns or observations to the appropriate team member
* Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of all sessions and interactions
* Participating in team meetings and contributing to the development of individualised treatment plans
* Promoting a positive and inclusive environment that fosters the young person's growth and development

Relevant education or experience in a therapy-related field (occupational therapy, speech and language therapy, or psychology)
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with young people and their families
* Strong organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
* A proactive and flexible approach to work, with a willingness to adapt to the changing needs of the young person and their family
* A genuine commitment to improving the lives of young people and their families
