Job Description
As a Procurement Business Partner - Construction & Engineering Services
3. Help support procurement activity: market engagement, sourcing strategy, tendering, evaluation, contracting and supplier management.
4. Support on construction category strategies aligned to our infrastructure plan and master schedule..
5. Source M&E services, civils, terminal refurbishments and specialist trades (including enabling works).
6. Manage NEC, JCT and other standard‑form contracts and support commercial negotiations.
7. Ensure contract governance: risk allocation, cost tracking, change control and programme management.
8. Provide procurement input to feasibility, cost planning and gateway reviews.
9. Monitor supplier KPIs to secure value for money, quality, safety and programme milestones.
10. Advise ELT/SLT with market insights, risk analysis and options
The Successful Applicant
A successful Procurement Business Partner - Construction & Engineering Services professional should have:
11. A strong understanding of end to end procurement's and have experience of of NEC or JCT contracts.
12. Proven experience as a procurement professional for construction and engineering projects.
13. Construction procurement experience, ideally in regulated/safety‑critical sectors (e.g., aviation, utilities, rail, public sector, construction, engineeting etc).
14. Experience managing complex sourcing and contract performance frameworks.
15. Excellent stakeholder skills with the ability to influence at ELT/SLT level.
16. MCIPS qualified (or working towards).
