Position: Night Shift Hygiene Operative Schedule: Monday to Friday, 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM Salary: £13.84 per hour OWN TRANSPORT ESSENTIAL DUE TO LOCATION AND WORKING HOURS Responsibilities: Perform thorough cleaning and sanitisation of equipment, production areas, and facilities according to established standards and protocols. Follow strict hygiene practices to ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain a clean and safe working environment. Handle cleaning chemicals responsibly, adhering to proper handling and storage procedures. Assist in dismantling, cleaning, and reassembling production equipment as necessary. Conduct regular inspections to identify and report any maintenance or repair needs promptly. Collaborate with the production team to maintain smooth operations and minimise downtime. Adhere to company policies and procedures regarding health and safety protocols. Maintain accurate records of cleaning activities and report any issues or deviations to the supervisor. Requirements: Previous experience in a similar hygiene or cleaning role, preferably within a food manufacturing environment, is advantageous. Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques, sanitation standards, and chemical handling procedures. Ability to work independently and efficiently with minimal supervision. Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards. Physical fitness and the ability to perform manual tasks, including lifting heavy objects and working in confined spaces. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. Flexibility to work night shifts on a consistent basis.
