Introduction Speech Pathologist- Liverpool Make a real difference by joining our Liverpool team as a Speech Pathologist, supporting teams who create meaningful change in the lives of people with vision and hearing loss. This is a Permanent Full-Time opportunity (38 hours per week), reporting directly to the Team Lead – Greater Sydney. Description What we can offer you: Competitive remuneration 100% salary packaging allowing you to increase your take home pay Extensive personal/carer’s leave 2 weeks paid leave over Christmas in addition to 4 weeks annual leave Access to industry leading education and professional development Collaborative work environment Wellbeing program including Employee Assistance Program You’ll make a difference in this role by: Providing high quality, client-centred early intervention and/or speech pathology services to clients with a hearing loss and/or vision impairment Conducting speech, language and communication assessments to monitor and track outcomes and inform goals Developing, delivering and evaluating ISP and progress reports with the client, family and relevant others Implementing best practice services for clients in clinical and educational settings Providing evidence-based assessment, intervention supports and other strategies to assist clients in achieving their goals and aspirations Delivering services in person, via telepractice, in a NextSense centre, client home, school or other appropriate setting Using a person/family centred framework when providing services, working alongside parents/caregivers to guide, coach and educate Developing, delivering and evaluating Individual Support Plans and progress reports with the client, their family and relevant others Skills And Experiences To be successful in this role you'll need to demonstrate you meet the following selection criteria. Essential: Bachelor in speech pathology or equivalent Practicing member of Speech Pathology Australia Minimum 3 years’ experience providing speech pathology services Sound clinical skills and knowledge Collaborative contributor to client outcomes as a member of a multidisciplinary team Valid driver's licence Working With Children NDIS Worker check Desirable: Prior experience working with clients with a sensory disability Working knowledge of the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) framework Willing to learn new systems, processes and frameworks We’re here to help.
