Application Support / Systems Administrator 12 Month Fixed Term Contract £31,000 to £34,000 per annum Hybrid. Public Sector body in the South East Keystream are supporting a Public Sector body in the South East with the recruitment of an Application Support / Systems Administrator to support a business-critical system within a live operational environment. This is a hands-on systems role sitting between IT and service teams. It is not a pure helpdesk position. The focus is on system configuration, user support, documentation and supporting system readiness for go-live and ongoing business adoption. Responsibilities Support and configure a live business application. Work closely with service users and stakeholders. Provide user support, guidance and basic training. Create and maintain system and process documentation. Support system testing, data quality and readiness for go-live. Assist with reporting, data validation and cleansing. Investigate and resolve system issues in a structured and proactive way. Support continuous improvement of system processes and user adoption. Required experience Experience in application support, systems support or systems administration. Comfortable working directly with users and stakeholders. Experience creating documentation or user guides. Ability to learn new systems quickly and work independently. Desirable Experience in public sector, regulatory or similar environments. Experience with reporting, data handling or SQL. Experience supporting line of business applications. Working pattern: Hybrid working with approximately one to two days per week onsite. The role is ideal for someone currently in an Application Support, Systems Support or Junior Systems Administrator role who is looking to gain broader system ownership, project exposure and experience working closely with service teams in a public sector environment.
