Our Client is a long-established business providing insurance and financial services to corporate and private clients. Based in Leicester as a Commercial Insurance Handler, you will work with clients in the East Midlands.
Responsibilities of the Commercial Insurance Handler:
* To broke new business enquiries and renewals.
* To be responsible for ensuring the business process is followed.
* To be responsible for ensuring records are compliant.
* To provide regular management information when requested.
* To carry out all aspects of internal underwriting administration for new cases until handover.
* Undertake specific projects as required.
* Assisting Account Directors/Executives where required and Commercial Insurance Handlers.
* Comply with the Company rules, requirements and procedures.
* Maintain competency as required by Wilson's.
* Attend courses as directed.
* Develop relationships with preferred insurers.
Qualifications of the Commercial Insurance Handler:
* Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and key stakeholders.
* Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
* Self-motivated and proactive with a results-oriented mindset.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office
* Knowledge of FCA
* Knowledge of Law of Agency, Data Protection Act and money laundering requirements.
* Knowledge of the internal procedures as laid down in the compliance manual.
* Knowledge of the company's T&C requirements
