The role
Our client is a well-established electronics manufacturer is looking for a SMT Operator.
You will be operating and programming SMT machinery while supporting the assembly of high-quality electronic products.

8-12 week Temporary Assignment with an opportunity to go permanent
£13.50-£14.50 per hour
Monday- Thursday 7.30am-4pm. Friday 7.30am-1pm (37 hour week)

Job Description
Set up, operate, and programme SMT equipment (e.g. pick & place machines, reflow ovens)
Prepare and load components, feeders, and reels for production runs
Ensure correct machine setup in line with BOMs, drawings, and work instructions

Essential Experience/Skills/Qualifications
Proven experience operating and programming SMT machinery
Strong background in PCB assembly (SMT & PTH soldering)
Experience working to IPC-A-610 Class 2 standards (minimum)
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and BOMs
Succesfful candidates will be undertaking a DBS check
