We are looking for a highly organised and proactive Project Assistant to join our UK IT team, supporting the CIO and Product/Project Management function in delivering a portfolio of strategic technology initiatives.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with IT PMO experience within the insurance sector who thrives in a fast-paced, delivery-focused environment and is passionate about enabling successful project outcomes.

The Role
As a key member of our IT PMO ecosystem, you will play a vital role in supporting the governance, coordination, and delivery of IT projects. You’ll work closely with Product Managers, Project Managers, and senior stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered in line with PMLC and SDLC frameworks, with a strong emphasis on structure, reporting, and control.
What You’ll Be Doing
* Provide hands-on coordination and administrative support across a portfolio of IT projects
* Partner with the CIO, Product Managers, and Project Managers to support planning, tracking, and milestone reporting
* Maintain core PMO artefacts including RAID logs, status reports, action trackers, and governance documentation
* Support end-to-end delivery processes aligned to PMLC and SDLC, including:
* Requirements tracking
* Sprint planning preparation
* Testing coordination
* Release readiness
* Prepare high-quality materials for steering committees and governance forums
* Coordinate meetings across business and technology teams, including third-party vendors
* Track dependencies, risks, and timelines to help ensure successful delivery
* Work closely with the IT PMO to adopt and embed evolving project management standards and best practices
What We’re Looking For
* Experience in a Project Assistant / PMO / Project Coordinator role within IT, ideally in the insurance or financial services sector
* Strong understanding of IT PMO environments, governance, and delivery frameworks
* Working knowledge of PMLC and SDLC methodologies
* Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
* Strong stakeholder communication skills, both written and verbal
