Role Purpose:
The Delivery Test Manager will lead and manage a QA/Test enablement team operating as a Centre of Excellence while providing test management across the wider programme. The role is critical in ensuring system integrity, driving innovation in testing practices, and building a high-performing team.
Key Responsibilities:
* Forecast, allocate, and optimise test resources across projects and programmes.
* Develop and implement test plans for multiple concurrent projects.
* Track test progress and quality KPIs, providing automated dashboards for reporting.
* Drive continuous improvement and innovation, including AI-enhanced testing approaches.
* Lead, mentor, and build a collaborative, high-performing test team.
* Engage with senior internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment.
* Develop resource estimation models and support timely delivery while maintaining quality.
Key Measures of Success:
* Accurate forecasting of testing capacity and resource requirements.
* Successful execution of test activities and delivery of quality KPIs.
* Creation and maintenance of automated test reporting dashboards.
* Adoption of robust resource estimation methodology across projects.
* Development and retention of a high-performing QA/test team.
* Effective stakeholder engagement across the programme.
Key Skills & Experience:
* Extensive experience in test management, including multi-stream projects and resource management.
* Proven ability to drive innovation and improvements in QA/test practices.
* Leadership experience in building and managing high-performing teams.
* Vendor management experience and effective collaboration with senior stakeholders.
* Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
